Brave New World: Arts Planning for 2021



Arts organizations, event producers, and artists are planning ahead for programming in 2021, but how can they adjust to new realities and challenges as COVID-19 continues? Join the MU Extension Community Arts Program for this Lunch-N-Learn educational series on best practices in arts planning for 2021.

The series runs on Thursdays from Oct. 15-29, 2020, from 12-1 pm (Central).

Schedule and topics include:
Oct 15: Safe Reopening, Missouri ArtSafe Certification
Oct. 22: Legal Aspects of Performing, Displaying, Exhibiting Online (i.e., Intellectual Property, Contracts, etc)
Oct. 29: Creative Possibilities in the Virtual World

This event is appropriate for anybody in the arts who is planning for the 2021 season, including: individual artists, venue or gallery personnel, event organizers or producers, managers or agents, and community arts practitioners. Participants can attend as many sessions as they like, and you should register for each session separately. 

Event is FREE, but registration is required. Event will be held via Zoom, and link will be sent out to registered participants.
